In order to process the admission of students into HS First Year courses for the session 2022-23
in different institutions (Universities/Degree Colleges/Senior Secondary Schools/Higher Secondary Schools) under AHSEC, the “DARPAN” admission portal will be made live from 07 June, 2022 to 18 June, 2022.

HOW TO REGISTER IN DARPAN HS 1ST YEAR ADMISSION 2022?
For admission into HS First Year 2022-23, the students will have to register in the darpan web portal between 7th June, 2022 to 18th June, 2022.

Before registration please keep the following documents ready for filling the registration form and uploading the same in the Darpan web portal. The list of documents is listed in this section for your reference.

- Passport Size Photo (not more than 1 MB)
- Class 10th Marksheet (not more than 1 MB)

- Details about Class 10 Board and Class 10 Result
The following details are required.
- Selection of Board like SEBA, Assam Madrassa Board, etc. If your board is not listed, select others. On selecting others a new tab will appear to select your board like CBSE, ICSE,etc
- Name of Class 10th Examination like HSLC, AHM, etc
- Roll and No of Class 10.
- Marks Obtained and Total Marks in Class 10. The percentage will be autopulated in the next tab.
- Personal Details about the student.
The following personal details are required.
- Students Name and Date of Birth
- Fathers Name, Mothers Name
- Email Id and Mobile No. Please provide a valid mobile no as admission updates from Darpan website will be sent via SMS in this number
- Nationality
- Religion, Caste, Gender
- Whether the students belongs specially abled category, tea tribe, EWS category, etc
- Extra Curricular Certificate in Sports/Cultural/NCC etc.
- Address of the Students
- Uploading Documents
The following certificate needs to be uploaded
- Passport Size Photo (not more than 1 MB)
- Class 10th Marksheet (not more than 1 MB)
- Caste Certificate if any (not more than 1 MB)
- EWS Certificate if any (not more than 1 MB)
- Gap Certificate if gap is more than 3 years (not more than 1 MB)
Passport photo and Class 10 marksheet is compulsory for every student seeking admission in DARPAN HS 1st Year admission 2022 web portal. Caste, EWS and Gap certificates are optional but compulsory if you fall in these categories.
- 4 Digit Pin/Password creation.
At the last step you have to create a 4 Digit login PIN. You need to remember it because you will need it to login again.
SELECTION OF COURSE AND COLLEGES
After registration, students have to select the stream they want to take and on the basis of that the available college under AHSEC will be displayed. He/She has to select the colleges and subjects he/she wants to opt for.
MERIT LIST PUBLICATION BY COLLEGES/SCHOOLS
The merit list and waiting list for admission into HS 1st Year will be prepared by the colleges/schools from the data of Darpan HS 1st Year admission 2022 web portal.
The merit list will be available online in the Darpan Web portal. You will also be notified of the same through SMS on the mobile number you have registered in the Darpan web portal.
DOCUMENT VERIFICATION BY COLLEGES/SCHOOLS
Next, there will be document verification of the students in the merit list and waiting list. The date of document verification will be made public by the concerned colleges/schools.
Generally, the following documents will be required for document verification.
- Class 10th Admit Card
- Class 10th Marksheet
- Address Proof documents of Students or Parents
- Caste Certificate if any
- EWS Certificate if any
- Gap Certificate if gap is more than 3 years
- Migration Certificate if from other board outside Assam.
ADMISSION FINALIZATION & SUBJECT CHANGE UPDATION IN DARPAN.
After the document verification, all the colleges/schools will finalize the admission process of the students in the Darpan Web Portal.
The students can change their preferred subjects(s) at the time of admission and the same will be updated in the Darpan portal on the day of admission.
