NUTRITION REHABILITATION CENTERS IN ASSAM
Many children in Assam suffer from Severe Acute Malnutrition (SAM). Nutrition Rehabilitation Centers in Assam provide rehabilitation to these SAM children below 5 years of age.
SAM children are identified by Health Field Worker of Assam like AWW, ASHA, ANM. Apart from them, RBSK Team, Social Welfare Department, Doctors, etc helps to identify SAM children.
Nutrition Rehabilitation Centers are care units where SAM children along with their mother can get admitted. Counseling sessions are provided to the mothers or caregivers of these children.
Along with counseling special food packs, nutritional supplements, medicines are also given to the SAM children. In Assam, there are nearly 30 Nutrition Rehabilitation Centers spread across the state.

DISABILITY REHABILITATION CENTERS IN ASSAM
