ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA TO TAKE ADMISSION IN BSC NURSING COLLEGES IN GUWAHATI
The eligibility criteria to take admission in BSc Nursing colleges in Guwahati is almost the same. The colleges are either under Srimanta Sankaradeva University of Health Sciences (SSUHS), Guwahati or SNDT Women’s University, Mumbai or some other.

- Candidates must pass Higher Secondary (10+2) in Science Stream or equivalent from an recognised Board/Council/University.
- The candidate should score the following marks in Higher Secondary (10+2) in Science Stream

- Passed Common Entrance Examination(CEE) for Colleges under SSUHS held every year.
ADMISSION PROCEDURE IN BSC NURSING COLLEGES IN GUWAHATI
The admission procedure of BSc Nursing colleges in Guwahati varies from university its is affiliated. It is different for colleges under Srimanta Sankaradeva University of Health Sciences (SSUHS) and other universities
So, I will divide this section into 2 sub sections.
ADMISSION PROCEDURE FOR BSC NURSING COLLEGES UNDER SSUHS
For the 1st time ever in Assam, admission into both Govt and Private Bsc Nursing Colleges under Srimanta Sankaradeva University of Health Sciences (SSUHS) will be done through a common entrance examination (CEE).
Both male and female candidates can sit in the entrance for taking admission in BSc Nursing. Candidates from other parts of North East are also eligible to take the CEE for BSc Nursing.
The question paper for the entrance examination is of 10+2 Standard MCQ based questions. Details of subjects and marks are given in the table below.
