(i)  Distance from Nalbari to Sankardev Kalakshetra is  83 km

(ii) Total distance from Kalakshetra to Planetarium is  15 km

(iii) Total distance from Chandmari to Nalbari via Planetarium is 76 km

(ii) কলাক্ষেত্ৰৰ পৰা তাৰকাগৃহলৈ মুঠ দূৰত্ব হ’ল 15 কি মি |

(iii) চানমাৰিৰ পৰা তাৰকাগৃহ হৈ নলবাৰীলৈ মুঠ দূৰত্ব 76 কি মি।

Now discuss the following tour related problems in group and solve them–

(i) Total amount collected from 20 students at the rate of Rs. 200/- per student is

Rs. 200/- × 20 = Rs 4000

এইবাৰ ভ্ৰমণৰ লগত জড়িত তলৰ সমস্যাবোৰ দলত বহি আলোচনা কৰি সমাধান কৰা (i) গাইপতি 200 টকাকৈ সংগ্ৰহ কৰিলে 20 জন ছাত্ৰ-ছাত্ৰীৰ পৰা সংগ্ৰহ কৰা মুঠ ধনৰ পৰিমাণ 

200 টকা x 20 =4000 টিকা।

(ii) The tour party paid Rs. 2200/- as their bus fare. What amount of the total

collection will remain as balance with them? 

Rs 1800

(iii) Total amount paid to Regional Science Centre as entry fees for 21 persons

(including the teacher) is Rs. 210. and the balance amount left with them

is Rs. 1590

(iv) The total expenditure incurred against food for 21 persons at the rate of Rs.

65/- each is Rs. 65/-×21 = Rs.1365

(v) The balance amount left with the tour party is Rs.225

(vi) An amount of Rs. 450/- was given to Rantu by his father to buy books from the

Book Fair and accordingly he bought the following books– one copy of Burhi

Aair Sadhu at Rs. 66/-, one copy of “Aesopo’s Fables” at Rs. 45/-, one copy

of Spoken English at Rs. 82/- and five copies of colour books at total amount of

Rs. 125/-. What is the total amount of money did Rantu spend in buying the

books from the Book Fair and what balance amount was left with him?

3. 22,345 spectators entered a stadium with a capacity of 25,000 seats to watch

a football match. How many seats remained vacant in the stadium on that

Day?

Solution:

Vacancy Seats = 25,000 – 22,345  = 2655

4. Ramen took 40 kg. of potatoes  to Guwahati for selling. He sold 30 kg. of them

at Rs. 40/- per kg. How much money did he earn?

5. In a block level sports event, a total number of 400 students from 8 schools

participated. If equal number of students from each school participated in the

event, what was the number of participating students from each school?
